William Farrell, Founder and CEO of RDX Enterprise

William Farrell

Founder & CEO · U.S. Air Force Veteran

William spent twenty years in Air Force intelligence and cyber operations, supporting reconnaissance missions, counter-IED analysis, and a $5.2 million cyber weapon system, briefing general officers along the way.

After the Air Force he built a second career in security automation, engineering SOAR platforms for an Army special operations mission, a national health insurer, and federal programs, including a full production Cortex XSOAR migration and playbooks that have driven more than 10,000 automated incident response actions.

In 2025 he founded RDX Enterprise, an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in Clayton, North Carolina. He mentors the way he engineers: human-led, agent-assisted, evidence-proven. Do the work, show the work, and let the evidence speak.

  • 20+ years USAF cyber & intelligence
  • Cortex XSOAR
  • Splunk SOAR

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Careers are built through consistent execution

Technology changes. Platforms change. AI changes. The ability to solve problems, communicate clearly, and build trusted solutions is what creates long-term success.

Our goal is to develop professionals who can think independently, lead responsibly, and keep learning throughout their careers. That is why this program is built around evidence of your own work rather than hours of content consumed.

HOW THE APPLICATION WORKS

Four criteria

1. Evidence of independent work

Specific things you have already done on your own: a home lab, a project, labs completed, rules you wrote. This is the question that decides most applications.

2. A clear 90 day goal

Concrete and checkable, with a real finish line. Not "get into cybersecurity."

3. Consistent commitment

An honest number of weekly hours you can actually sustain, and a yes to accountability.

4. Contribution to the cohort

What you will give the group, not only what you want from it. Small cohorts rise or fall on this.

How to submit

Applications are submitted as plain text only. Do not send resumes, attachments, calendar invitations, external links, or requests to install software.

Cohort size

The first cohort is deliberately small. Applications that ignore the submission instructions or push for an immediate meeting may be declined.

Those submission rules are a security control, not a formality. RDX works in regulated and federal environments, and we hold ourselves to the same handling standards we ask of the people we work with.

SCHOLARSHIPS

A limited number of seats each cohort

A limited number of scholarship seats may be available in each cohort, awarded on the strength of the application and available capacity. Scholarships are earned after orientation and a written 90 day development plan, not granted at acceptance.

Receiving a scholarship does not create an employment relationship with RDX Enterprise. Participants who later discuss or promote the program publicly must disclose any complimentary access, scholarship, or other benefit they received.
