FROM THE AIR FORCE TO RDX
The Founder's Background
William Farrell spent twenty years in Air Force intelligence and cyber operations. He supported reconnaissance missions, counter-IED analysis, and a $5.2 million cyber weapon system, briefing general officers along the way.
After the Air Force he built a second career in security automation. He has engineered SOAR platforms for an Army special operations mission, a national health insurer, and federal programs, including a full production Cortex XSOAR migration and playbooks that have driven more than 10,000 automated incident response actions. His platform work spans Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Cyware, and ThreatConnect.
In 2025 he founded RDX Enterprise, an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in Clayton, North Carolina. RDX builds security automation that keeps a human in charge of every consequential action and produces evidence you can trust. Control the action. Prove the outcome.
